The Direct Marketing Association, the most important association in direct, email and database marketing with 5,200 associates in 44 countries, in the Response Rate Report
interviewed 1,400 companies on the results of their marketing actions.
The results show that email marketing has the best ROI (return on investment)
when compared to other media (radio, television, press, direct marketing and coupons) to generate orders; an
even better result can be achieved with in-house address lists
rather than purchased ones.
